tidak ada punya niat. Setahun lebih silam waktu itu, tepatnya sekitaran th.
1994-an saat saya pergi kuliah, saya bersua dengan orang yang berikan anjuran

Hari itu saya tergesa-gesa pergi ke tempat kuliah,

favorite saya. Saat itu mendadak hujan turun, saya baru sadar apabila lupa
membawa mantel, selanjutnya berteduhlah saya di sudut satu warung.
Di tempat itu saya berteman dengan seorang yang
demikian baik, dia seorang menantu Kyai yang mempunyai pondok pesantren.
Pembicaraan kami lebih seru saat meraih materi rejeki untuk manusia.
Pekerjaan dia yakni pekerjaan serabutan. Dia tak
memiliki pekerjaan tetaplah, tetapi dia bersyukur dapat penuhi kepentingan
keluarganya dengan baik.
Sandang, pangan, dan perhiasan untuk istrinya selalu

Saat saya ajukan pertanyaan apa rahasianya rejeki dia
selalu berlimpah, jawaban dia ada pada selalu bersyukur, dan terlebih jangan
pernah sedikitpun menyakiti atau buat kecewa istri.
Itu anjuran yang selalu diperoleh dari mertua saya, dan
saya tunjukkan sendiri sampai sekarang ini, kata orang itu dengan muka serius.
Dengan selalu bersyukur, bahkan saat diserang musibah
walau, kesenangan yang bakal kita terima akan ditambah oleh Allah.
Itu janji Allah,
tidaklah main-main mas, kata orang itu. Janji Allah tentang umatnya yang
menginginkan bersyukur memang sering kita dengar dalam bermacam kotbah atau
ceramah agama.
Apabila kita menginginkan mengkalkulasi berapakah
nikmat yang diperoleh Allah pada kita, pasti tidak akan pernah habis.
Itu gambaran
rasa syukur yang butuh kita ungkapkan, tetapi terkadang banyak manusia yang
lupa mensyukuri nikmat itu.
Setelah itu jangan sampai sakiti istri kita. Tersebut
poin yang saya pegang senantiasa sampai sekarang ini.
Pekerjaan seorang istri yakni pekerjaan terberat dalam
keluarga. Seorang istri harus selalu melayani suami, melahirkan dengan taruhan
nyawa.
Membesarkan anak dengan susah payah, terkadang ikhlas
mengorbankan waktunya agar anaknya dapat tumbuh sehat dan bermacam pengorbanan
yg tidak terhitung saat harus berusaha penuhi serta melayani kepentingan suami
dan anak-anaknya. Dengan saksikan beratnya pekerjaan sang istri di atas,
tegakah anda menyakiti istri anda?
Menurut orang yang saya kenal itu, banyak tidaknya
rejeki yang dia terima terkadang tergantung pada perlakuannya pada sang istri.
Saat dia keluar rumah mencari sesuap nasi dengan tekad membahagiakan istrinya
(saat itu dia belum punyai anak), rejeki yang dia terima hari itu pasti banyak.
Sebaliknya apabila saat pergi mencari nafkah dia lebih
dahulu menyakiti hati istrinya, terkadang dia tak peroleh hasil apapun yang dapat
dibawa pulang.
Narasi di atas mungkin saja saja terkesan dibuat-buat,
tetapi saya baru sadar dan rasakan sendiri saat saya sudah berkeluarga. Apa
yang saya alami sama persis dengan yang dihadapi orang yang saya kenal setahun
lebih waktu itu itu.
Istri memang mempunyai manfaat demikian besar dalam
mendatangkan rejeki untuk kita.
Mungkin saja saja doa istri mempunyai kekuatan yang
dahsyat untuk satu keluarga. Pesan saya, jangan pernah sedikitpun menyakiti
hati istri kita apabila inginkan rejeki kita berlimpah. Mudah-mudahan narasi
